The Regional Land Use and Transportation Plan (2001) is the overarching policy document for the City of Flagstaff and part of Coconino County - how the area grows and changes. The process of updating the Regional Plan is expected to take 36 months and will require extensive community outreach. State Statute requires this plan to incorporate 17 elements.
Flagstaff City Council and Coconino County Board of Supervisors have appointed a 22-member Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) to work closely with the Core Planning Team in developing the Regional Plan 2012. These teams use the Steering Committee to guide the process and to keep both City Council and the Board of Supervisor informed.
