SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING

 

May 24, 2006

4:00 p.m.

 

A Meeting of the Flagstaff City Council was held on May 24, 2006 convening at 4:02 P.M., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 211 West Aspen Avenue, Flagstaff, Arizona.

 

1.

Call to Order

 

The Meeting was called to order by Vice-Mayor White.

 

2.

Roll Call

 

On roll call, the following were present:

 

 

Mayor Donaldson - Excused

 

Vice-Mayor White

Councilmember Babbott - Excused

Councilmember Cooper

Councilmember Haughey

Councilmember Kelty

Councilmember Silva

 

 

Also present were:

 

 

Acting City Manager, Jim Wine

Assistant City Attorney, Dana Kjellgren

 

3.

Consideration of Resolution No. 2006-38:  A resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona, declaring official and adopting the results of the Mail Ballot General Election held on May 16, 2006.

 

 

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

Read Resolution No. 2006-38 by title only.

Adopt Resolution No. 2006-38.

 

Councilmember Haughey moved to read Resolution No. 2006-38 by title only, seconded by Councilmember Kelty.

 

Margie Brown, City Clerk, provided a brief overview of the Mail Ballot General Election held on May 16, 2006.

 

The motion to read passed on unanimous vote, and title was read as follows:

 

 

Resolution No. 2006-38

 

 

 

A resolution of the Mayor and Council of the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, Arizona, declaring official and adopting the results of the Mail Ballot General Election held on May 16, 2006.

 

 

Councilmember Haughey moved to adopt Resolution No. 2006-38.  The motion was seconded by Councilmember Cooper and passed on unanimous vote.

 

4.      ADJOURNMENT

 

There being no further business to come before the Council, the Special Meeting was adjourned at 4:06 P.M.
