Swimming is for life! No matter your age or ability, everyone can participate in some type of “pool play”, from water walking to lap swimming to just playing and having fun. The new Aquaplex has given the City of Flagstaff the opportunity for the whole community to participate in a variety of aquatic activities and classes. Stay fit, learn a new hobby, have fun or just relax in our new state of the art facility. We have something for every one so grab your goggles and towel and check out Flagstaffs first recreation based aquatic facility.

Towel Policy
Patrons are responsible for bringing their own towels to the facility or they may purchase a towel for $5.00 each from the front desk

Swim Diaper Policy
As a convenience for our patrons, swim diapers can be purchased from our front desk staff for $2.00 each.
     >  All Children age two (2) and under are required to wear a swim diaper.
     >  Anyone age three (3) and over who are not potty trained must also wear a swim diaper.

Life Jacket Policies
Life jackets are provided as a convenience to our customers.  Customers may bring their own Coast Guard Approved life jackets.  Life jackets are not a substitute for direct adult supervision.  Non-swimmers in life jackets must adhere to the following practices:
     >  An adult or chaperone, 14 years of age or older, must be within arms reach at all times.
     >  Life jackets will only be handed out to adults or chaperones.
     >  Staff will provide assistance to ensure proper size and fit.
     >  All flotation devices must be Coast Guard Approved (see inside of device for approval number).

Safety Policies & Guidelines for Pool Customers
The following policies & guidelines have been created for the safety of our guests.
  • Swimming suits are required.
  • Children 5 and under must have a chaperone (someone 14 or older) in the pool within arms' reach of the child at all times.
  • Children 6 - 11 must have a chaperone (someone 14 or older) in the pool area while the child is in the pool.
  • Children 12 and older are allowed in the pool unsupervised. 
  • Persons with infectious/contagious conditions may not use the facility.
  • Food, beverages, and smoking are not allowed inside the facility.
  • Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the pool or pool areas.
  • Please take a soap shower before entering the pool.
  • Be considerate of other patrons using the facility.
  • Rough horseplay or swearing are not permitted.
  • Inflatable toys are not permitted for the safety of our swimmers.
  • Toys, lifejackets, and other equipment must be approved by the pool supervisor or lifeguard.
  • Swimmers must be 48 inches tall to use the water slide. No exceptions.

Safety is our priority! The Aquatic Staff may take any action or enforce any rule that provides for the safe play and recreation of all of our customers.
