Today’s employers are encouraged to make fitness and wellness programs available as part of an employee benefit package. Smart employers know that regular participation in a fitness, exercise or wellness program helps reduce employee absenteeism, creates more productive and happier employees and often helps reduce the cost of health insurance programs.

Traditional business or corporate discount programs have often rewarded large employers by giving larger discounts to employers with more employees.

After the employer has contributed the annual fee and provided an employee list to the Aquaplex staff, employees for that organization can then directly purchase an annual pass at the listed discount. Various payment options are currently being established. In this program, employees are also rewarded, with increasing discounts, based on longevity of participation in the program. Discounts
Employee purchase annual pass with the following discounts:
  • Years 1-3 of continuous pass purchase = 10% discount on all annual passes
  • Years 4-6 of continuous pass purchase = 15% discount on all annual passes
  • Years 7-10 of continuous pass purchase = 20% discount on all annual passes

Employers will need to:
  • Provide and help update an employee list for the program.
  • Agree to allow the Recreation Department to distribute promotional materials and schedules.
  • Provide proof of employment such an employee ID or the most current pay stub.
