Clark Homes is an affordable rental property, managed by the City of Flagstaff Housing Authority. Clark Homes has 1-4 bedroom homes available. Clark Homes strives to be a drug-free and crime-free community that is safe and comfortable for families of all sizes. Clark has a skilled maintenance crew on staff to respond to any maintenance needs residents may experience. Units are inspected regularly to ensure that they are in compliance with federal health and safety regulations, and all maintenance needs are taken care of.

Who is Eligible?
Clark Homes is limited to low-income families and individuals. The Housing Authority determines your eligibility based on:
  1. Annual gross income
  2. Whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family
  3. If the adult members of your household submit a criminal background check free of drug, and violence related charges during the past three years.

If you are eligible, the Housing Authority will check your references to make sure you and your family will be good tenants. The Housing Authority will deny admission to any applicant whose habits and practices may be expected to have a detrimental effect on other tenants or on the project's environment.

How long is the Waiting List?
For Flagstaff residents, the average wait time is currently 6 months to 2 years depending on the bedroom size your family qualifies for. However, this amount of time could vary depending on a variety of factors.

Are there any Selection Preferences?
Based on a point system, points are awarded for residency, housing need and current victims of domestic violence or those displaced by domestic violence. Points will be awarded at time of application.

Rent is 30% of the monthly adjusted income.
