City Council Reports
City Council Reports (CCR) are an important communication tool for the Flagstaff City Council.  Typically, the Mayor or a Councilmember will ask the City Manager for information on a subject or issue. The Manager asks staff to provide a report to the entire City Council with the requested information. Pending requests can be found here.

June 11, 2015 - 1st Quarter 2015 Investment Report - This is the 1st quarter investment report for the period ending 3/31/2015

June 11, 2015 - FTE Comparison information - This CCR is in response to a request by Councilmember Overton, for information related to FTE Comparison of FY 2015 to FY 2016.

June 11, 2015 - Commission Appointments - The purposed of this report is to confirm the eligibility of an individual appointed to the Open Spaces Commission, to inform Council on how eligibility determinations will be made in the future and, to remind Council that they may establish a formal eligibility screening process if they so choose.

May 22, 2015 - Regulations Associated with Parking Trailers. RVs, and Boats is Residential Neighborhoods -   This CCR is in response to a request from City Council for information regarding the City’s regulations pertaining to park trailers, RVs and boats.

May 17, 2015 - Core Services Maintenance Facility Project Development Activities Update - This CCR is an update on items in progress on the Core Services Maintenance Facility and current Public Works Yard. 


May 14, 2015 - Questions from City Council regarding Reclaimed Water Policy and the Principles of Sound Water Management - Vice Mayor Barotz and Councilmembers Putzova and Evans asked staff a series of questions regarding reclaimed water policy contained within the Principles of Sound Water Management as well as the City Code.  

May 11, 2015 - Library Foundation and Friends of the Library - This report is in response to the Council request from the Fall Budget Retreat to determine if the development of a Library Foundation could be a future source of operating funds.

May 5, 2015 - Backflow Prevention Assembly Testing Requirements - This CCR is in response to a request by Councilmember Putzova concerning the necessity of the Backflow Prevention Assembly Program and its testing requirements as brought to her by a concerned citizen.

April 28, 2015 - Conditional Use Permits for Rooming and Boarding Facilities -  City Council has requested information on the number of Conditional Use Permits (CUP) for Rooming and Boarding Facilities that have been approved and how the enforcement of these approvals is implemented.

April 24, 2015 - Neighborhood Meeting Requirements and Proposed Code Amendments -  Staff provided two CCR's on neighborhood meeting requirements dated March 3, 2014  and July 31, 2014. Both are attached to this report.

April 21, 2015 - Winter Parking Ordinance - This is in response to Councilmember Oravits request for information on the Winter parking Ordinance.

April 22, 2015 - Air B and B Tax Collection - This is in response to Councilmember Evan's request for information on AirBNB operations in the City of Flagstaff.

April 22, 2015 - Municipal Courthouse Planning - This report is intended to provide Council with details regarding continuing efforts to attain the goal of developing a new municipal courthouse.

April 20, 2015 - City Regulations Requiring Buildings To Be Placed Close To The Street - This CCR is in response to Councilmember Oravits request at the April 7, 2015 meeting.

April 20, 2015 - Building Permit Deposits - This report is to inform the Council that the Building Safety Program will be changing the timing of plan review fee collection.

April 20, 2015 - Path Forward on Residential Displacement and Relocation -

April 13, 2015 - Preparedness for Railroad Related Emergencies - This is in response to Vice mayor Barotz request on April 1, 2015 about the City's preparation and action plan in the event of a major train derailment in Flagstaff.

April 10, 2015 - 2015 Legislative Session lobbying activities and bill tracking - This is in response to a request from Councilmember Putzova in emails and at the 4-7-15 Council meeting.

April 9, 2015 - November 2011 Staff Summary regarding potential Southside Permit Parking Program - This was requested by the City Council at the 3-31-15 Work Session.

April 8, 2015 - Snowbowl Reclaimed Water Deliveries & Revenue - This was requested by Councilmember Putzova.

April 6, 2015 - Bulk Trash Pilot Project - This CCR responds to Councilmember Oravits question about how the pilot project of not picking up Bulk Trash in the month of February went.

March 30, 2015 - Potential US 180/E. Route 66 Improvements - The purpose of this report is to raise awareness of the potential for improvements to the US 180/E. Route 66 intersection and its potential impacts to city property and interests.

March 23, 2015 - Dew Downtown Budget - This is in response to Councilmember Evans request for a report on the expenses and revenue for the 2015 Dew Downtown.

March 17, 2015 - Flagstaff Recreation Center - Boys and Girls Club - This report is intended to provide Council with an update on the Flagstaff Recreation Center and the Boys and Girls Club

March 17, 2015 - Dew Downtown Budget - This report is intended to provide Council with a summary of the expenditures and revenues related to the 2015 Dew Downtown event. 

March 16, 2015 - Boys and Girls Club and Flagstaff Recreation Center - The purpose of this report is to confirm that the Flagstaff Recreation Center will continue to be managed and operated by the City of Flagstaff.

March 10, 2015 - 2015 Legislative trip to Washington D.C. - This report is intended to provide Council with details of the annual legislative trip to Washington D.C. which occurred February 25-27, 2015.

March 9, 2015 - 4th Quarter 2014 Investment Report - This is the quarterly investment report for the period ending September 30, 2014.

March 8, 2015 - Legislative Update on Law Enforcement & Fireworks Bills - This report provides an update on several bills of interest from Councilmembers.

March 6, 2015 - Status of Red Gap Ranch - This report is in response to a request from Councilmember Evans about the status of the water at Red Gap Ranch.

March 4, 2016 - West Street and Arrowhead Avenue Improvement Project Emergency Construction Services Procurement - The purpose of this report is to provide information on an expenditure made in adherence with the City Procurement Code Article 10.C

February 12,2015 - Leroux St. Water & Sewer Improvements Downtown Business Alliance Concerns - This Council Report is in response to concerns expressed via a January 26, 2015 email from John VanLandingham (Old Town Shops) to Jeff Meilbeck, Interim City Manager and Josh Copley, Deputy City Manager regarding timing on project delivery.

February 11, 2015 - Transit Service to Flagstaff Shelter Services - This report is in response to a request from Councilmember Overton for an update on transit service to Flagstaff Shelter Services.

February 5, 2015 - Staffing concerns at the Flagstaff Police Department - This report is in response to a request for further information from Councilmember Oravits and Councilmember Evans on the current status of staffing (and related information) at the Flagstaff Police Department.

January 20, 2015 - Core Services Maintenance Facility Project Development Activities Update - This is an update on items that are in progress or completed on the Core Facilities Maintenance facility.

January 14, 2015 - Clarification on the use of balloons, pennant flags and other devises at auto dealerships and other businesses - This City Council Report provides information regarding the use of balloons, pennant flags, etc. for advertising purposes at auto dealers and other businesses in Flagstaff.

January 14, 2015 - Status of City Council voting records available online - This is in response to Vice-Mayor Barotz request for information on when the Councilmembers voting records will be available online.

January 12, 2015 - Axon Body Camera Program at the Flagstaff Police Department - This is in response to a request from Councilmember Evan's for further information on the current status of the Axon Body Cameras Program.

January 9, 2015 - Flagstaff Police Department Taser Policy - This is in response to a request from Councilmember Evan's for a copy of the Flagstaff Police Department's Taser Policy.

January 5, 2015 - 2014 Federal Trade Commission Red Flag Rules and Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard annual reports - This is the 2014 Federal Trade Commission Red Flags Rule (Red Flags Rule) Annual Report and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Annual Report.

December 23, 2014 - Airport parking and related funding restrictions - This is in response to Councilmember Overton's request for information on parking at the Airport during the December 16, 2014 Council meeting.

December 18, 2014 - 2015 Transaction Privilege (Sales) Tax (TPT) License Renewal - This CCR provides information on the upcoming TPT license renewal process for the City of Flagstaff in 2014/2015.

December 9, 2014 - Core Services Maintenance Facility Project Development Schedule - This is in response to a request to provide an estimated schedule for development and construction of the new Core Services Maintenance Facility.

December 9, 2014 - Outreach Proposed for the Implementation of the City's Recently Adopted Sign Standards - This CCR provides information to the Council on the outreach proposed as part of the implementation of the recently adopted amendments to the City's sign standards.

December 1, 2014 - 3rd Quarter 2014 Investment Report - This is the quarterly investment report.
