Housing is an important issue to Flagstaff as a community. The limited supply of housing for low- and moderate-income families and individuals affects our quality of life as residents and our ability to grow and develop economically as a community. The Housing Section works to address this shortage with a number of programs and tools designed to:
Increase housing inventory and availability;
Economically stabilize lower-income families through benefits of homeownership;
Support efforts for safe and adequate homes;
Revitalize community neighborhoods;
Rio Homes Affordable Housing
Three brand new energy star homes are under construction for sale to qualified households. Applications are now being accepted to determine eligibility and the homes will be sold to qualified households on a first come, first served basis.
