Drinking Water
Flagstaff's Water
Flagstaff is supplied drinking water from many different sources. The Water Production Division is responsible for providing high quality drinking water to the community. Drinking water is produced through conventional surface water treatment of waters from Upper Lake Mary and springs from the Inner Basin of the San Francisco Peaks.

In addition to surface water, Flagstaff receives groundwater from the lake Mary well field, the Woody Mountain well field, the Inner Basin wells, and local "In-City" wells. The Water Production Division operates and maintains our production facilities, storage facilities and a certified lab to ensure consistently high water quality.
