Flagstaff Makes a Splash with the Project WET Water Festival

Participation in four activities from the AZ Project WET curriculum provided fourth grade students with hands-on learning in the following topics: groundwater, watershed, water cycle and water conservation.

The Annual Water Festival occurs at the Thorpe Park Ball Fields for all Flagstaff area fourth grade students and their teachers and chaperones.

Thanks to the volunteers and experts from the NAU Department of Education, NAU ITEP, AZ Project WET, AZ Department of Water Resources, Sierra Club, Willow Bend Environmental Center, community members and City of Flagstaff for making the festival a success year after year.
