Drop-Off Day

Join Elevated Shredding, Flagstaff Police Department, Coconino County Sheriff's Office, Ponderosa Medical Waste Services, Electronic Responsible Recyclers (ER2), Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center, Coconino County Public Works, and Flagstaff Sustainability Program for a Drop-Off Day, Dump the Drugs, and Shred-A-Thon Event!

Put your waste in the right place! Come to the Flagstaff Police Department parking lot (911 E. Sawmill Rd) on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 10 am-2 pm to drop off expired or unwanted medications, sensitive documents, aerosol cans, latex paint, CFLs, fluorescent tubes,  batteries, ink and toner, and electronic waste such as computers, printers and televisions.

We will be collecting up to two banker boxes of sensitive documents per person for on site shredding.

No drugs, electronic waste, or paper from commercial sites will be accepted.
*Car seats are no longer accepted at this event. 

​Battery and Bulb Collection Event

On Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10 am – 2 pm at the Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center, 245 N Thorpe Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. City staff will be hosting a collection event to help you conveniently dispose of your batteries, and fluorescent and CFL light bulbs. Staff will also be able to take any aerosols cans you have for recycling.

We will not be accepting any other hazardous items at this event and you will need to bring those to the Hazardous Products Center or a future Drop-Off Day event, which take place every April and October.
