Drop-Off Day

Put your waste in the right place! Come to the Flagstaff Police Department parking lot on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 10 am to 2 pm. the Drop-Off Day, Dump the Drugs, and Shred-A-Thon Event is hosted by:

  • Join Elevated Shredding
  • Flagstaff Police Department
  • Coconino County Sheriff's Office
  • Ponderosa Medical Waste Services
  • Electronic Responsible Recyclers (ER2)
  • Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center
  • Flagstaff Sustainability Program

Accepted Items

The following items will be accepted:

  • Aerosol cans
  • Batteries
  • CFLs
  • Electronic waste such as computers, printers and televisions.
  • Expired or unwanted medications, vitamins, or supplements 
  • Medical syringes
  • Fluorescent tubes
  • Sensitive documents for onsite shredding

We will be collecting up to two banker boxes of sensitive documents per person for on site shredding.

Liquid waste such as latex paint, cough syrup, and other chemicals should be taken directly to the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center and will not be accepted at this event. 

Rules & Requirements

  • No drugs, electronic waste, or paper from commercial sites will be accepted.
  • Car seats are no longer accepted at this event.
  • Masks are required of all attendees. Please remain inside your car at the event.
