Drop-Off Day
Put your waste in the right place! The next Drop-off Day has not been scheduled, please check back periodically for updates.
The Drop-Off Day, Dump the Drugs, and Shred-A-Thon Event is hosted in partnership between:
- Flagstaff Sustainability Office
- Flagstaff Police Department
- Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center
- Coconino County: Sheriff's Office/ Sustainability Office
- Elevated Shredding
- Ponderosa Medical Waste Services
- R3Ewaste Computer & Electronics Recycling
Accepted Items
The following items were accepted during the last event:
- Aerosol cans
- Batteries
- CFLs
- Electronic waste such as computers and printers (no TVs)
- Expired or unwanted medications, vitamins, or supplements
- Medical syringes
- Fluorescent tubes
- Sensitive documents for onsite shredding (2 boxes/ person max)

Rules & Requirements
- Liquid waste such as latex paint, cough syrup, and other chemicals should be taken directly to the Flagstaff Hazardous Products Center and will not be accepted at this event.
- No drugs
- No electronic waste or paper from commercial sites
- No car seats
