The Office of Labor Standards Division is tasked with enforcing and implementing the City of Flagstaff’s Minimum Wage Ordinance 2017-24. Not complying with the City of Flagstaff’s Minimum Wage Ordinance governed by Title 15 of the Flagstaff City Code, can result in any fine or penalty.
Employees are entitled to all remedies available to correct a violation of this law, including back pay/wages owed, interest thereon, liquidating damages (Additional amount equal to twice the underpaid or unpaid wages), injunctive relief and/or attorneys’ fees and witness fees and costs.
Employers violating any requirements set forth under Title 15 or other requirements set forth by the Office of Labor Standards shall be subject to the civil penalties and remedies listed under subsection 15-01-001-0007A, 15-01-001-0007B, 15-01-001-0007C and 15-01-001-0007D.
