The City of Flagstaff will host an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration on Monday, Oct. 11. The celebration will be held virtually and online sessions will focus on honoring the four sacred elements of life.
The sessions are open to the public and are free to attend. The celebration will begin at 8:15 a.m. with a traditional prayer, opening remarks and a reading of a proclamation recognizing Indigenous People's Day. Guest speakers and City staff will then offer various informational sessions from 8:30a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The full list of presentations and access instructions can be found in the poster below.
