Investigations

The Criminal Investigations Division conducts prompt, efficient and effective investigations. Detectives use all available technological resources and traditional investigative methods to:

  • Solve crimes
  • Track down and apprehend suspects
  • Locate missing persons
  • Recover stolen property

By adhering to a community policing philosophy, members of the division have formed a partnership with law-abiding citizens to suppress crime and improve the quality of life in our community. Within this unique relationship between crime victims and the community, the Criminal Investigations Division works to identify persons responsible for criminal behavior and disorder.

The division has one Lieutenant, two sergeants, and 13 detectives.

Silent Witness

The Coconino County Silent Witness Program is a nonprofit organization that promotes community involvement in solving crimes. Since 1978, this program has allowed citizens to assist law enforcement agencies through the confidential disclosure of information on felony crimes. The program offers cash rewards up to $1,000 for the arrest and conviction of a perpetrator of a felony crime. Silent Witness can be reached by calling 928-774-6111 or (877) 29-CRIME.

Arizona Sex Offender - This site will provide information on the location of sex offenders within Arizona. While not intended to supplant the community notification process, it allows the criminal justice community to promote public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offenders pose to Arizona citizens.
