Hal Jensen Recreation Center

The Hal Jensen Recreation Center, Flagstaff Aquaplex, Jay Lively Activity Center, Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center, and Siler Homes Activity Center are closed to the public until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

All permanent restrooms in the City's parks (including Heritage Square), playgrounds, swing sets, rockers, ramadas, picnic tables and barbecue grills at all parks, the outdoor fitness center located at Bushmaster Park and the Parcourse Stations at Buffalo Park will be closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Basketball courts closed on April 4 in compliance with additional guidance issued by the Governor of Arizona.  The city recognizes the importance of these outdoor amenities; however, the safety of the public, staff and the effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 are the highest priority.  ​

About the Center
The Hal Jensen Recreation Center (HJRC) is designed for family fun and fitness with a variety of drop-in hours.  We offer year round activities and programs, including group exercise, dance, leisure classes, a fitness center, and meeting rooms that are available for rent. HJRC is now a Silver Sneakers and Silver & Fit facility!
