The City of Flagstaff has entered into Phase 3 of the city's Re-Entry Plan
Recreation Staff are currently planning for a safe and effective reopening of all Recreation facilities and programs under Tier 1 of the site-specific plans of the Re-Entry Plan.

Please stay tuned for re-opening dates for the Recreation facilities including Jay Lively Activity Center, the Aquaplex and Hal Jensen Recreation Center.

May 22, 2020
All park amenities are open for public use with responsible social and physical distancing except for ramadas, picnic tables, and barbeque grills which will continue to be closed until further notice.

All recreation centers; The Flagstaff Aquaplex, Jay Lively Activity Center, Joe C. Montoya Community and Senior Center, Hal Jensen Recreation Center, and Siler Homes Activity Center remain closed at this time.

Please check our Facebook page or the City's website for updates.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to everyone's return.

All Aquaplex memberships will continue to be extended for the total length of time that the facility is forced to be closed due to COVID-19.

While the facility is closed, we have not been running our installment billing to help alleviate any financial hardship the virus might be causing.

Members who have questions or concerns regarding their membership may reach out to Jacqueline Richwine, the Guest Service Coordinator at the Aquaplex via telephone (928-213-2307) or email (jrichwine@flagstaffaz.gov).

The Flagstaff Aquaplex Inclement Weather Policy
It is recommended that you call the Aquaplex at 928-213-2300 if the weather is questionable to find out if the pool is open.

Lightning:
For the safety of our patrons, the pool will close when lightning is detected 5 miles away from the facility and will reopen 30 minutes after the last strike.

Snow:
Due to inclement weather conditions throughout the winter and for the safety of our patrons and staff, the following procedures are set in place.

> The Aquaplex will open at 8:00 a.m. on Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD) delayed start and/or cancellation days.

Late openings or early closures will be determined on a case basis and the decision is made by City Leadership. We will monitor the conditions as they arise throughout the day and make decisions with our staff and patron's safety in mind.
