NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 

PROPOSED CITY OF FLAGSTAFF TOBACCO RETAILERS LICENSE FEE


The City of Flagstaff hereby gives notice pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-499.15 that it proposes to amend the City Code to adopt new fees related to a license fee for the purpose of implementation and enforcement of Ordinance 2019-24.

The fee is anticipated to cover part or all of the cost of administration, education and training, retail inspections, and compliance checks. The proposed fee will not exceed the cost of the regulatory program.

The City Council will conduct a public hearing and consider whether to amend the City Code to adopt the proposed license fee at the following date, time and location:

          Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 6:00 PM

            City Council Chambers

            211 W. Aspen Avenue

            Flagstaff, AZ 86001


A first reading of an ordinance to approve the changes may occur on this date. A second reading of an ordinance to approve the changes may occur at the next public meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers. 

The City Council may approve, disapprove, or modify the proposed fees at that time.
