The City Council made the change to allow for greater opportunities for public participation, and to increase efficiency, productivity and accountability. The change will allow the Council to review and discuss draft agenda items at the 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of the month. In preparation for public input and voting on those agenda items at the 1st and 3rd Tuesday's of the month. This change in schedule will allow citizens and Council a full week between draft review and final action. Currently the Council reviews the agenda on Monday and takes action on Tuesday, providing only one day between review and action.
