The City of Flagstaff Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2022 NoFA (Notice of Funds Available) process will begin with two public meetings held January 8th and January 13th.
On January 8th, City staff from multiple Community Development sections (Parks, Recreation and Open Space, Capital Improvements, Code Compliance, Housing and Neighborhood and City Planning) will host a public meeting for residents of CDBG identified target neighborhoods (La Plaza Vieja, Sunnyside, Southside, and Pine Knoll/Brannen) and members of ALN (A League of Neighborhoods). This meeting will focus on upcoming planned and potential neighborhood revitalization projects in these target neighborhoods with a request for input and feedback from community members regarding use of CDBG funding and resident identified priorities. The meeting will be held virtually at 11am and can be accessed at the following link: – Click here to join the meeting.
On January 13th Housing staff will provide community members and public agencies/organizations with an overview of CDBG eligible uses and the proposal submission process. Community members are welcome to attend and provide public comment on the CDBG program including funding priorities and projects. Agencies considering applying for CDBG funds are encouraged to attend and learn more about the CDBG program and regulations dictating use of funds and the grant management requirements.
