The Railroad Wayside Horn system at the intersection of Route 66 and Fanning was recently damaged by lightening. Because of the damage, the horn system is disabled and trains need to blow their horn as they pass through the intersection. The City is working as quickly as possible to repair the system so that the blowing of train horns will no longer be necessary.
