[ARCHIVED] 2-hour delayed start today

All City of Flagstaff non-essential services will operate on a two-hour delayed start this morning due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. The City urges all residents to delay travel if possible. For an overview of the opening times of various City facilities, please visit

The City’s Public Works division has deployed all available equipment and operators during this winter snow event, with operations running 24 hours a day. First priority roadways for treatment are main arterials, major hills, downtown, school and transit routes. All other streets are considered second priority areas. A map of the city which shows first and second priority streets can be found here.
