[ARCHIVED] City facilities to close at 5 p.m.

All City of Flagstaff non-essential facilities will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14 due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. This includes facilities such as libraries and recreation centers.

Today’s City Council meeting will take place as scheduled and will begin at 3 p.m. While City Hall will remain open for the duration of the meeting, it can also be streamed online. More information on streaming and virtual participation options is available at

The City’s Public Works division has deployed all available equipment and operators during this winter snow event, with operations running 24 hours a day. First priority roadways for treatment are main arterials, major hills, downtown, school and transit routes. All other streets are considered second priority areas. A map of the city which shows first priority streets can be found here.
