If you are requesting trimming for City property which borders private property, please be advised that the property may be considered a Public Way. Public Ways fall under the Property Sidewalk Maintenance Code. Section # 8-03-001-0004 of the City code prohibits dirt, cinders, snow, ice, or any other obstruction from remaining on public sidewalks. The code states that any owner, occupant, tenant or person caring for any building, lot or parcel of land that borders a public sidewalk is responsible for those area and sidewalk conditions. All debris is to be removed.
