Owner-Occupied Housing Rehabilitation
Low-income residents who own their own home are often unable to set aside the resources to maintain it. This leads to cumulative disrepair that can affect the health and well-being of those dwelling within, the feel and vitality of the neighborhood, and the stock of potentially affordable homes available to future residents. To address this issue, the City of Flagstaff administers the Owner-Occupied Home Repair Program. This program is voluntary and available to owner-occupied households meeting the following eligibility requirements:
- Your home must be owned by you and be your primary residence
- Your home must be within the city limits of Flagstaff, or within the boundaries of Coconino County (excluding tribal lands)
- Your home must have health and safety hazards
- You must meet household income guidelines
